Nippo Boating Practices
- All watercraft must travel counter clockwise around the lake.
- No more than FIVE watercraft are permitted on the lake at the same time, and only THREE watercraft are permitted if they are towing skiers or tubes.
- Watercraft must maintain no-wake headway speeds of 6 mph or less within 150 feet of the shore, coves, other vessels, swimmers and swimming areas, docks, or floats.
- When returning with a skier, the towing watercraft and skier must remain at least 150 feet from shore.
Remember to clean any watercraft if it's been used at another lake or body of water. Things like cyanobacteria or milfoil can be brought in accidentally and cause the lake to be unusable. Do you part to keep Nippo Lake clean!
